How to test javascript webresources in Microsoft Dynamics CRM before deploy?

is there a way to write unit test for javascript webresources for Microsoft Dynamics CRM without the necessity to deploy the webresource in the first place so I can have concurrent testing, maybe even with wallaby.js or something? Mocking seems to be hard, and there is still the "don't mock, what you don't own" thing that comes to mind. But how else would be the approach?
