cannot create file for testing c# private method

I am new to c#. I do have some experience testing javascript. I have a private method that I need to test. I ran through this link http://ift.tt/2aeKSxt. Which is on the msdn documentation.

However, when I follow the directions and right click on private i get the following message Create Unit Tests is supported only within a public clas or a public method
