Getting a Reference not set to an instance of an object when working through a unit test example on MS Channel 9. Why?

I'm using VS 2013 Ultimate. I've tried, twice today, to follow Robert Green's demonstration on data driven unit testing On Microsoft's Channel 9. I know I've followed what he instructed in the associated lab to the Introduction to Unit Testing part 2. I've made a .XML file, I've created the local.testsetting file. I've configured the deployment. Then I did the Test | Test Settngs | Select Test Settings File.

And yet I still get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error message.

Why?
