Boost.Test for embedded Unit test

I need a tool for embedded unit testing (none-eabi) for an arm. The programming and debugging is done via gdb.

Is it possible to execute such tests with boost.test or build an add-on for that? Or does anyone know of an alternative?

I need a way for C++ and boost.test does seem quite nice. But I did not find anything about a GDB interface for it.
